The Role of Small Molecules in Biology
Overall, my research focuses on utilizing the diversity of C. elegans for unknown metabolite identification. I am particularly focused on the role genetic diversity plays in population dynamics and metabolic shifts.
Outside of my graduate training and research, I have been highly involved in professional development opportunities such as: leading and creating programming for the Genetics Society of America’s early career leadership career development committee, Editor-in-Chief for a local science communication blog (Athens Science Observer), and Co-President of my department’s Genetics Graduate Student Association (GGSA).
